Getting started
- Create a job and take or import your before photos.
- When the work is finished, capture matching after photos using the original photo as a guide, or import after photos and check the matches.
- Choose the comparisons you want, preview the result, and export images, a collage or a short video.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account or internet connection?
No account is required. Capturing, organizing and creating exports work on your iPhone. Importing a photo stored only in iCloud, sending files through an online service, and opening support links may require a connection.
Where are my photos and job details stored?
They are stored in the app on your iPhone. WorkReveal does not upload your library to our servers and does not provide its own cloud sync or library backup service.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app removes its local library. Keep original photos and save exports you need before deleting it. Offloading may retain app data; Apple device backups are separate and depend on your settings. We cannot restore your library from our servers.
How do I match the before and after?
Use the translucent before-photo guide and adjust its opacity while lining up the camera. For imported after photos, check the matching screen before saving. Tap one after photo, then another, to swap them. Capture-time sorting is a starting point, not automatic recognition of the same scene.
Why can’t I take a photo?
Check that camera access is enabled for WorkReveal in iPhone Settings. You can also import photos with the system photo picker. If a call or another interruption pauses the camera, return to the app and try again.
Why won’t a photo import?
If the photo is stored in iCloud, open it in Photos and let it download, then try again. Check your internet connection and available iPhone storage.
Which export should I choose?
Images creates a separate comparison for each selected pair. Collage combines several pairs into one image. Video creates a silent before-and-after animation. Choose Post, Story or Square to suit where you plan to use it, and review the preview before exporting.
Are customer details included in the export?
The separate client information fields are not added to exports. Your business logo, name and contacts can be included; turn off Show contacts to remove that visual block. Job names are hidden by default, but can be included if you enable Show job name. Always check the photos themselves for faces, addresses or other private information.
Does WorkReveal keep the original photo files?
The app saves resized JPEG working copies. Your originals in Photos are not changed. Exported comparisons preserve the full image rather than cropping it; thumbnails may be cropped on screen. Keep originals separately if you need full-resolution or archival files.
Are there ads or subscriptions?
The current version contains no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Any download price is shown in the App Store before you download the app.
